Destination Success is a standards-aligned supplemental reading and mathematics curriculum software package from Houghton Mifflin Learning Technology. Destination Success includes a Learning Management System which provides instructional learning paths for students that can be automatically prescribed following a pre-test or by teacher selection. With this system, each student is provided the individualized curriculum support he or she needs.

The strength of Destination Success is the methodical, step-by-step tutorials that scaffold student learning. The combination of animation video, audio, and content embedded into the learning experience makes it possible for students to see concepts in action. Destination Success focuses on real world situations and problems. Students immediately relate skills to their everyday lives and to the world they see around them.

Destination Success is for both elementary teachers and students. Teachers are able to use the dynamic content to illustrate concepts and principles. Animated books, songs, and activities come to life at teachers’ fingertips while working with a whole class, learning group, or individual student. Students can have virtual content delivered to their home, the library, school, or any setting with Internet access.

The goal of this program is to provide a research-based, content-focused, user-friendly software solution for teachers, students, and parents to support teaching and learning. Destination Success not only benefits schools, students, and parents but community outreach facilities as well. Faith-based organizations, mentor programs, homeless shelters, community centers, and boys and girls clubs are all able to support student learning by the integration of Destination Success into their programs.
