EVALUATING PROGRAMS
About Evaluating Programs
The process for evaluating the quality and effectiveness of professional learning opportunities delivered by the Schultz Center starts with a theory of action we believe to be true about the relationship between high quality professional development and student achievement.

Schultz Center Theory of Action: Schultz Center Therory of Action

For more information about the process for evaluating programs at the Schultz Center, see: The Schultz Center Process for Evaluating Programs (PDF).

If the chain of events described above is to take place as expected, we know that we have a responsibility to ensure that high quality professional development is delivered. How do we know? We know by using a systematic process for designing professional development that will result in high quality content and instruction. This process is: the 6Rs for Successful Professional Development.
