READING ENDORSEMENT FOR ENGLISH SPEAKERS OF OTHER LANGUAGES (REESOL)
About REESOL
For ESOL endorsed teachers, the reading endorsement can be obtained through a professional development bundle of Reading
Endorsement for English for Speakers of Other Languages (REESOL), consisting of 300 in-service points/hours earned through a completed combination of the following:
- ESOL Reading Crosswalk - 80 in-service points obtained from your ESOL endorsement.
- Competency Two, Florida Online Reading Professional Development (FOR-PD) - Foundations of Research-based Practices - 60 in-service points.
- The REESOL course - A 100 hour, face-to-face reading academy.
- Competency Six, Application of Differentiated Instruction (Practicum) - 60 hour demonstration of the accomplishment/practicum.
