RIVERDEEP LEARNING VILLAGE
About the Riverdeep Learning Village
The Riverdeep Learning Village is full service “all in one” curriculum management tool that connects educators
to the best practices, instructional strategies, lesson plans, and resources that enable measurable student
achievement. From one central portal, educators may tap into a wealth of web-based curricula, and collaborate in
the broader district-wide learning community.
Learning Village provides control of content creation and asset management. Flexible curriculum mapping tools
align instructional plans, content, and assessment to national, state, or local learning objectives and standards.
Learning Village enables educators to access curriculum and resources from a variety of sources including
publisher-content, multimedia and video, and teacher-created materials.
Educators can enhance classroom content and make curriculum available to all students and teachers from one
central learning hub. By effectively integrating digital content as a learning tool across the entire district, teachers,
and students gain opportunities for focused, efficient instruction that connects and aligns resources to the district
benchmarks.
For the Participants
Learning Village offers a holistic approach to curriculum management, assessment, and instruction – helping
educators analyze student performance, and identify the resources that effectively guide individualized data-driven
instruction. Through regular performance monitoring, Learning Village helps educators overcome the everyday
challenges and adapt lessons and instructional models to provide the appropriate challenge for students.
Learning Village provides a forum for collaboration. Educators become part of a district-wide learning community
by sharing experiences, gaining access to information, and engaging in discussion forums with their peers.
Announcements, news updates, and subscriptions to high-interest content help educators personalize their
instructional dashboard. Web-based communication tools extend learning beyond the classroom. Parents can
participate and collaborate in online forums with parents, teachers, students, and administrators.
