SPECIAL PROJECTS AND RESEARCH
About Special Projects and Research
The Schultz Center’s Office of Research Design and Evaluation is also available to other school districts and organizations to design, coordinate and carry out independent evaluation projects and research. We are able to customize technical support and services to meet the needs of organizations in a number of ways such as:
- Designing outcome-based professional development programs tied to adult and student learning outcomes.
- Developing instruments or tools needed to gather participant feedback.
- Conducting needs assessments of various participant groups to provide for long and short term planning.
- Determining the appropriate measures for assessing program quality, implementation fidelity, and evidence of adult learning for existing or planned programs of professional development.
- Indentifying appropriate types of student achievement measures that can serve as evidence of impact.
- Conducting best practices and literature reviews of topic areas and promising practices in preparation for program revision or development.
- Conducting evaluations of existing or planned programs of professional development and reporting results in multiple way to address the needs of multiple audiences.
